Drive sales in your territory through proactive prospecting and account management.

Build and grow lasting relationships with dealerships, owner-operators, and new customers.

Sell across all Ritchie Bros. multi-channel platforms.

Develop and manage your sales pipeline in Salesforce, using territory playbooks and strategies.

Prepare and deliver tailored presentations to secure new business.

Partner with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of sales and outstanding customer service.

Travel within your territory and attend auctions to build networks and grow opportunities.
Qualifications
3+ years’ experience in structured outside/field sales with a proven record of exceeding targets.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
A self-motivated, competitive, and entrepreneurial mindset.
Strategic thinking, negotiation, and closing skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
Experience in heavy/industrial equipment sales is an advantage.
Clean, valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities
- Key responsibilities include selling various multi-channel solutions, sourcing, maintaining existing accounts and growing sales, maintaining the territory playbook, understanding customer needs – “it’s all about the customer”, and negotiating and closing deals in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Sell all the Ritchie Bros. multi-channel solutions through prospecting & developing business, planning, pipeline management within the assigned territory
- Source and grow sales with new business and support existing business through personal and professional relationships with customers – it’s all about the customer
- Develop assigned territory by building and maintaining the Playbook and utilizing the CRM (Salesforce) tool on a frequent basis
- Understand specific needs of customers and deliver value by providing customized solutions via presentations
- Partner with internal stakeholders to negotiate and close deals
- Travel overnight within your region and to Auction sites and training as required
- Perform other duties as assigned
